With all of the bad news associated with pancreatic cancer, there are some shinning lights. One that shines particularly brightly is the remarkable journey of Alison Black. Alison lost her uncle Ron to pancreatic cancer and turned her loss into something beautiful. Alison dedicated herself to running a marathon in her uncle’s honor and to using this amazing effort to raise money for pancreatic cancer research at Johns Hopkins. Alison’s amazing 50 state effort culminated with a marathon in Maryland followed by a visit to the Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Hopkins. Alison’s effort inspires patients, their families and our scientists!
CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU ALISON!
