Pathology and the Child Life Trick-or-Treat Event!

Once again, Pathology employees generously supported the Hospital’s Child Life Department for its Halloween Trick-or-Treat Parade by collecting an extensive array of donations — edible and non-edible – for our pediatric and adolescent patients! Many children were in costume and participated in the Trick-or-Treat Parade on Friday, October 30, in the Children’s Center in Bloomberg, and more goody bags were distributed on the floors to the kids who could not participate in the parade. Pathology had two tables full of wonderful treat bags.

The special programs coordinator of Child Life, Annie Woods Beatson, stated that Pathology has been one of the longest-term and biggest supporters of the Halloween celebration. The parade and goodies help our young patients and their families maintain their Halloween traditions in the Hospital setting.

Special thanks to all the Pathology employees who were involved by organizing, donating, and participating in this special Trick-or-Treat day. Our employees certainly helped to brighten the days of our pediatric and adolescent patients!   Many thanks to Paula Mister, “team lead,” and Virgie Camarador for their efforts and for the pictures below:
